I'm back to working out, but I'm still with my sling on, which really sucks. I go to the doctor tomorrow and I really hope they tell me I don't have to wear my sling anymore. I'm so sick of it, its really putting a damper on my sleep. On a brighter note..... I'm very excited because I lost 5 pounds!!! I want to lose 10-15 pounds more then I can just maintain. Its tough, losing weight is one of the hardest things I've had to do in my life, But I'm determined and motivated!! Here is a picture of me after my workout, sorry but I couldn't rotate it.....ok I rotated it but could erase the first pic

Today I got my hair done, it is long time over due. I pretty much went a little darker than I usually go because blonde highlights are pretty much too damn hard to maintain. My appointment was at 3:00 and I didn't leave the salon till 5:45. It takes foooorrreeevverrr to do my hair, I have thick hair so it takes a good couple of hours and several bottles of color. Melissa the girl who usually does my hair was already booked so I had to go with another girl, her name was Ana. I felt bad when I saw Melissa there, I kinda felt like I was cheating. But it was either this weekend or never, I have plans for every weekend in May. Ana did an amazing job and she was really nice. I have so much hair she even had a hairdresser who wasn't busy help her put the color on my hair, lol it was pretty neat. I felt like I was a celebrity having 2 people work on my hair.....jk. Oh and the pics came out backwards the one on the bottom is Before and the one on top is After.

I just finished eating some delicious pork ribs and bacon wrapped shrimp jalapeno poppers, sooooo yummy. Dustin has been doing all the cooking since I still can't really use my left arm, which completely sucks (not being able to use my arm not Dustin's cooking). I'm sick and tired of this stupid sling. But Dustin is a great cook and everything he makes is delish. We are going to stay in tonight and watch the Spurs hopefully kick the Mavs pony ass. Spurs did a great job the last game stopping Dirk and the D-bags. To my 3 favorites, Duncan, Tony, and Manu balls to the walls and kick some Maverick ASS!!!!

Since my little fall and break, I haven't been able to workout. But today I decided it was time to get my sweat on. I went to the gym and did 20 minutes on the stationary bike and 20 minutes on the elliptical. I felt kinda weird cause a lot of people were staring at me cause I was working out in my sling. I had a guy ask me what happened. But other than that it was great to get back to working out. For dinner I had salmon, fresh saute green beans, and a Greek salad, and it was delicious.

My friend Jessica invited Dustin and I to go hangout on Rand's boat and eat bar-b-que at the Back Porch. We had a great time! Rand's boat is cool. Jessica was recording Rand on how to put together swordfish bait which is squid, so he could post on his blog. Actually, that's where I got inspired to make my own blog. Well, it was a great day. I got some son and we just chilled on the boat and drank some cold beers.

Well its been 2 weeks since I fell and broke my clavicle. I've become more efficient with my right hand. I decided not to let it heal on its own and not have surgery. Hopefully, it heals correctly and strong so I don't have problems with it later on. I hate wearing my sling but I have that sucker on 24/7. I have about 4 more weeks left in my sling, but when I see my doctor on the 28th I'm going to ask her if I can get out of it sooner. Tomorrow I'm going to try and do the stationary bike, I hate not being able to workout like I want to. I've actually stopped eating carbs so I can lose weight while not working out. Eating no carbs has actually worked, and surprisingly I don't miss carbs either. I'm on a mission to look my best when we go on our vacation this summer.
